Rather than burning fossil fuels to "Parch" this wild rice we took a step back and recreated the traditional flavor and method of using wood to stabilize this ancient grain. The smoke rising from the fire enters the drum where the product is rotating inside giving it a unique taste (roast). Wood Parching tends to yield a lower moisture content product giving it a quicker cook time.&nbsp;Order includes 3 - 1lb packages in the printed burlap bag.
