Following Cairns

I am no longer selling products on foraged.com. I was so excited when this platform started, basically an Etsy shop for foragers to get local wild foods in the hands of people without a big lift to the small business owner. It gave me a professional platform where folks could browse my products, and made receipts and paperwork a breeze. However over the past year a pivot to the company no longer allows local pickup options, requires shipping, and added a hefty fee each year to maintain a website. Therefore this company no longer aligns with the values of Following Cairns in supporting local food systems, and the fees are out of our price range as a community focused organization. Don't worry, I'm looking into other website options and this is not the end of Following Cairns! I am still selling at two local upcoming markets, stay tuned for info. I am also working on policy for an exciting new alliance with other Minnesota foragers, developing plans for a community tool share project, and agenda setting for an upcoming Twin Cities foragers gathering.
