Heron Farms grows, designs, and sells products that mitigate freshwater consumption. We also generate freshwater as a byproduct, which is pretty cool.

Sea Beans (also known as Samphire), are succulent marsh dwellers and the most salt-tolerant terrestrial plants in existence. They’re a cousin of beets and spinach and share their nutritional value, but are much tastier and a great plant-based salt alternative!

Biting into a Sea Bean is like taking a fresh bite of the ocean. Sea Beans are the perfect salt replacement — Lose the salt, chop and drop the beans!

We restore one square-foot of marsh for every pound of food we sell. Heron Farms is committed to creating a sustainable agricultural system and restoring marshlands by using Earth’s most abundant resource, seawater.
