A delectable salt made from wild harvested CA Yellowfoot mushrooms. It is a “must-have” in your spice and seasoning collection. Yellowfoot mushroom is a favourite of many mushroom lovers. The mild but lively taste goes well with most foods as a replacement for normal salt. Add an earthy touch to soups and baked foods, or  rice or pasta. Yellowfoot mushroom salt should be added to food when it is nearly ready. In this way, you get the most aroma from your food. A dark rich finishing salt made from wild harvested CA  Black Trumpet mushrooms. It is a “must-have” in your spice and seasoning collection. The aroma in this jar alone is enough to draw attention. High ratios of mushroom fruit bodies to salt encapsulates the essence of the black trumpet mushroom. This salt has a distinct sweet, mildly cheesy and funky aroma. Every bottle is infused with 1/2 ounce of dried mushrooms and 3 ounces of premium pink Himalayan salt. 3.5 ounces total.

Black Trumpet Infused Pink Himalayan Salt

Mushrooms

The lobster mushroom (Hypomyces lactifluorum) is truly incredible. We are always filled with excitement and gratitude when a lobster mushroom patch is discovered. It’s bright red color and texture are so unique and the flavor is divine! This mushroom dries extremely well and the flavor does have notes of the lobster. The texture is meaty and I highly recommend making a lobster roll with these beauties. We cook with them often and my fettuccini with lobster mushrooms is a family favorite. The texture is perfect as a meat replacement and so much more! 

We have foraged every one of these dried beauties in the CA Redwood Forest. We take great pride in our product and quality is of utmost importance. Golden Chanterelles are one of the most famous and loved wild mushroom. They have a delicate, nutty and often robust flavor that chefs can’t get enough of. Once reconstituted, the light texture of this wild mushroom will definitely become a favorite. Wild mushroom soup, omelets, pizza, and pasta are just a few of the many ways to use. Use as a meat substitute for “pulled pork” and veggie burgers.
