Pilgrimage Farm LLC is primarily a mushroom farm. Over 6 years of success we have developed a unique substrate and process for growing the highest grade natural quality Shiitake mushrooms. We strive to achieve a negative carbon footprint, and will achieve this within this decade. I myself have been foraging since I was a child with my mother and maternal grandmother teaching me as young as 3 and 4 years old which plants to NEVER eat, like hemlock... After years of honing my mushroom identification skills I began collecting mushrooms beyond the Chanterelle and Morel, now I seekout Candy Caps, COW's and Hen's, Lobster Mushrooms, Etc. I forage both in middle Tennessee and northern Minnesota I am basically retired from main stream american economy, I sell locally at farm markets and locally to Nashville area and my business survives, but I have no ambitions further than to get my mushroom process documented, published and spread to others to whom the investment of log cultivation is out of reach. I am happy to join foraged and offer some of the wild bounty that God grows for everyone's health and well-being.
