We also love adding a few drops to mixed drinks, and it makes a great wild bitters for your next cocktail or mocktail.

Spicebush grows abundantly in the forests of Northeast Ohio where we forage the berries in the fall and steep them in rum for you to enjoy year-round! We pick them when they are fresh and bright and full of flavor.

Bear Corn (also known as Cancer Root, Conopholis americana) is used for a wide variety of uterine health related issues, including menstrual cramps and endometriosis relief. Bear Corn is a non-photosynthetic plant that grows abundantly in the forest of Northeast Ohio. We sustainably harvest Bear Corn on private forest land near our farm, and it is a remedy that works SO WELL for us and everyone else we know with a uterus, and we are excited to share it more broadly! Mushroom Tinctures

Reishi mushrooms are especially known to help regulate the immune system, both reducing inflammation from an over-active immune response (including seasonal allergies) and stimulating under-functioning immunity. There are related claims of anti-tumor and anti-cancer properties, as well as claims to reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and regulate blood sugar. Reishi is also helpful in managing energy and sleep. It is best taken daily to see the full effects. Dual-extraction uses both water and alcohol to extract the full benefits from these mushrooms. 

Reishi is a term that's used for a specific Lingzhi species of Ganoderma native to east Asia, but also used to encompass all Ganoderma species used medicinally. Ganoderma lingzhi has been the subject of study and use for centuries in Chinese medicine, but we use our locally-growing Ganodermas knowing that they also have strong medicinal properties.

Dried Wild Hen of the Woods mushrooms (also known as Maitake or Grifola Frondosa.) These are some of our favorite dried mushrooms to use year round! They smell amazing, and add wonderful flavor to soups, stocks, and more. When reconstituted, the texture is slightly chewy, and they are delicious in stir fries, as a meat substitute, or in any recipe. 
These are foraged locally in Northeast Ohio. We search the woods for the biggest and oldest oak trees to find these beautiful mushrooms growing at their bases.
