**Will be in stock: Spring 2023**
Our wood-fired, Pure Maple Syrup is made from the sugar maple trees along the shores of Leech Lake, Northern Minnesota. In the very early spring, when the nights are still below freezing, and the days are warm, we tap our trees using the timeless bucket and spile method. We then process our sap into syrup in small batches using a wood-fired evaporator. It's the real deal - 100% pure maple syrup, with nothing added or taken away, resulting in a pure, delicious product that's high in antioxidants and packed with nutrients like riboflavin, zinc, magnesium, calcium and potassium.
The flavor is rich and complex, with a deep caramel taste that's perfect for pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, or even on savory dishes.
***Please Note: Our syrup is filtered and bottled in small batches throughout the sap-flowing season; Early season syrup tends to be lighter in color, while late season syrup will be darker. ***
We are a woman-veteran, family-owned and operated farm located in northern Minnesota.
By building a closer relationship with the food we eat, we can re-connect to a deeper sense of community and wellbeing. At Agidaaki Farm, we believe in living in reciprocity with the land, and raising awareness around the importance of ethical and seasonal harvesting practices. Our goal is to reconnect our community to the intimate story that exists with what we eat; learning the origins of where our food comes from, reconnecting to the natural world, and celebrating local traditions.
