It's not been easy, and the reason why....there's a lot of peppers grown in Calabria! Some are round, some are short. We have obtained a few choice strains from our friend from Calabria, and they continue to track down others.

Mazzetti is a short, thick pepper with a beautiful upward growth habit. The peppers grow in clusters and are quite gorgeous glowing red when ripe. These average at about 20,000 Scoville units and have a great flavor.
