Different seasons have different leave colors, textures, and stickiness. Springtime into Summer Creosote is full of green leaves, flowers, white fluffy fruits & lots of creosote resin on leaves which causes the stickiness. Winter plant is still green to greenish yellow & doesn't have as much creosote resin on leaves, sometimes still has the fluffy fruit.
Creosote is one of the oldest plants on the the planet. It has been used for thousands of years for it's healing properties. Average lifespan of the Creosote Bush is 1,250 years. The oldest known plant is 9,500 years old in Johnson Valley.
