Add dried mushrooms to warm water for at least 15 minutes. Depending how thick the mushrooms are you may need more time to rehydrate. When the mushrooms are soft, pliable and fully rehydrated take them out of the water. The clean, strained mushroom water can be added to stock or used in a sauce. Oyster mushrooms can be cooked like any other type of mushroom. They can be roasted, sautéed, grilled, stir-fried or simmered in broth or sauce.
