A naturalist & minimalist dream mushroom! These dyers polypore were sourced and harvested responsibly right here in the North Woods of Minnesota.

Dyers polypore are well known for creating fantastic colors. They can be used to dye natural fibers like wool and cotton. Fabric lovers unite!

Traditionally they have also been used in native cultures to dye buck skins and other leathers. On occasion they were also used to dye rabbit fur for traditional native regalia.

You will receive cracker crisp dried slabs of dyers polypore. The pieces will be from several different specimens so you have a variety of colors and shades with each order. If you are looking for whole specimens please contact me and I can send photos of the whole mushrooms that I have available.

Please make note: This is NOT an edible mushroom. It's intended use is to dye natural fibers, fabrics, and leather.

I am selling these in 2 ounce (dried weight) lots. If you would like a larger quantity feel free to contact me and I can do a bulk order and discount for you.

Happy hunting!
