These beautiful polypores start appearing in Spring around the same time as Morels and continue fruiting until warmer weather takes over for the Summer. It is lovingly referred to as the "Consolation Mushroom" by Morel hunters.

After these are lovingly harvested, they are immediately rinsed, sliced thin, and dehydrated. After dehydration, they are stored in an airtight container until they are packaged the ship.
