Moss Gel: Place the cleaned leaves in a bowl, cover with filtered water, and soak for 8 hours or longer. Once soaked, the material will be rubbery and smooth. Rinse again and place the clean, salt-free leaves in a saucepan. Cover with water, bring to a gentle boil, and simmer for 12-15 mins. Once it is cool enough for your blender blend on high until smooth. Pour the mixture into a jar and refrigerate. As the liquid cools, it will thicken into a mildly flavored gel that blends easily into drinks and smoothies!
