Rather than burning fossil fuels to "Parch" this wild rice we took a step back and recreated the traditional flavor and method of using wood to stabilize this ancient grain. The smoke rising from the fire enters the drum where the product is rotating inside giving it a unique taste (roast). Wood Parching tends to yield a lower moisture content product giving it a quicker cook time.

Wood Parched Wild Rice - Using a wood fired Parcher we have allowed the wild rice to take on an additional flavor blend.
The higher heat and smoke entering the drum lowers the moisture content of the grain making a distinguished product from other types of wild rice.
