Chicken of the Woods can be found in Pennsylvania, and in numerous different parts of the East coast. It is described as having a lemony, meaty taste.  Some think it taste more crabby or lobster-like, and some more like its namesake. It is found on dead oaks all over the woods. It can be fried, stewed, grilled, or sauted. Substitute in your favorite chicken recipes. Simply delicious!
