There is a lot you can do with this amazing wild salmon, but one of our favorite ways is to cook it from frozen. Yes, you read it right, cook it from frozen and have a delicious and healthy dinner done faster than a frozen pizza!
Ingredients
Wild Alaskan keta salmon portions
Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Frozen French fries
Fresh broccoli, asparagus, carrots, cauliflower... Any vegetable that you can steam.
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Remove frozen wild Alaskan keta salmon portions from the packaging and place it on paper lined baking sheet skin side down. Drizzle the fish with salt, pepper and olive oil.
3. Spread french fries in a single layer on the other side of the sheet.
4. Put it in the oven for 15 mins (baking time may vary based on the portion thickness. Once there is a lot of white fat marbling on top of the fish, it's done. If not, give it another 5 mins.)
5. If your fish is done and the fries are not, remove fish from the baking sheet and put the fries back in for a few minutes.
6. While your fish is baking, use a steamer pot to steam your cut-up vegetable (broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, carrot or any other). Remove the vegetable from the heat while it's still a little crispy, it'll slowly continue cooking in the pot even when the heat is off.
Total cooking time: under 25 mins
Serve with your favorite condiment.
